Kirstin + Delina's Georgia Waterfall and Tennessee Sunset Engagement Session || Tennessee Adventure Elopement Photographer

Kirstin and Delina asked me to photograph their engagement session in the Chattanooga area and one of their requests for a location was a waterfall!! I had just the spot for them! Thirty minutes outside of downtown Chattanooga is a gorgeous park in Georgia called Cloudland Canyon State Park. That’s where this adventure began!

We met up at Cloudland Canyon to start our hike down to Cherokee Falls. It’s really easy going down but coming back up from the waterfall is a different story. Let’s just say there are a ton of stairs. We make our way down to the falls and the lighting is absolutely perfect. I immediately got my camera out and started snapping. These two are so cute together and you can see so much love between them that it’s easy to get beautiful photos. Once we finished at Cherokee Falls in Georgia we made our way to Sunset Rock in Tennessee. I love that I can be in three states within thirty-ish minutes. I’m right on the corner of Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. We made it to Sunset Rock before sunset (thankfully) and we were able to relax and talk for a bit before the light really started to get good. It was super windy up there but the wind blown hair look looks great on them! Once that sun started to go down I knew we were about to have a magical sunset. Once the sun was down, we had to make our way back to the car via more stairs but all of the hiking was worth it for these images. Kirstin and Delina live in Columbia, TN, so for them to drive 2.5 hours to Chattanooga was such a compliment to my work and the beauty of the Chattanooga area. I can’t wait for their wedding in May in their backyard in Columbia. It’s going to be such a celebration of love.
